Donald Reid  Labour

Councillor for Ward 12 Kilwinning West ( Whitehirst Park, Woodside, Kilwinning railway station and Dalgarven areas of Kilwinning) Within North Ayrshire Council.

Donald Serves as Vice Chair of the Educational services Committee, Chairman of North Ayrshire's Outdoor Access Forum and also serving on the Licensing section of Corporate Services, Corporate Policy and along with all local Members serves on the Local Area Committee which has a main role is small grants to local voluntary groups.

Donald Reid holds his surgeries on the First Tuesday of Every Month at Whitehirst Park Community Centre, West Doura Ct from 5.30pm to 7pm. Home visits can also be arranged in particular for the housebound or disabled by contacting the councillor at home on 01294 472194 or Cunninghame House on 01294 324170 or 324172. Biography

Donald was born Johnstone 1970, Brought up in Lochwinnoch before marrying an Ardrossan Girl and moving to Saltcoats, Has worked in Kilwinning since 1987 firstly at Sunnyside Nursery and most recently part time at the Claremont Hotel. Have been involved in many local groups over the years. interests include gardening, flower shows, National Trust and Walking.
